About Felix Rippy
An Indiana-based attorney who has also maintained offices in Texas over the years, Felix Rippy is currently pursuing doctoral (PH.D.) studies at the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). Reflecting his high academic performance, Felix Rippy recently received a prestigious one-year appointment as SPEA graduate student research assistant.
Mr. Rippy earned a BA at Harvard University (cum laude) and completed his law studies at the University of Texas School of Law in the 1980s. His work as a sole practitioner and with Rippy< Henderson & Taylor, PC, and the Rippy Law Firm has spanned criminal practice and over a decade as a board-certified family law attorney. He also has experience in estate planning and business formation and dissolution, and holds an MBA from Indiana University (salutatorian, 1992).
Mr. Rippy has a strong community focus that has included directing political campaigns for several judges in Williamson County, Texas. (Judge Kevin Henderson won two of his three campaigns and ultimately became Felix Rippy's long time law partner.) In Indiana, he has engaged in a number of charitable efforts supported by the Cathedral of the Episcopal Diocese of Indiana, including the running-focused "Back on My Feet Again” initiative. An avid runner, he has taken part in numerous road races and serves on the board of the Indiana Invaders Running Club. Felix Rippy is also a Chalice Bearer for communion at the Episcopal Christ Church Cathedral in Indianapolis.
